Family Portrait Session – Sunset Cliffs

Shooting a portrait session at the beach can be beautiful, and in San Diego it often is.  And it can be challenging.  This particular session was host to some fun winter-like storm cloud conditions.  Initially I thought, “awesome!”  We’ll be able to grab some great color in the sky and dramatic clouds.  Well, that never really materialized.  This day was pretty windy, so the lighting was constantly changing, and the clouds never really let the light get underneath them.  Nevertheless, we were able to grab a variety of different looks and I think some great photos.
