I love this park, and haven’t even explored more than 20% of it. It’s not that it’s a big park, but it’s a hidden little gem in San Diego that people drive by every day and don’t even know it’s there. It has several parking lots with ample parking, lots of trails to wander/jog/bike on, and if you’re so inclined, there are plenty of signs that detail the types of plants and animals you’re likely to see.
Makes more for a nice little spot to take some family photos as well. I like the usual spots too, but this place affords privacy, which is nice for getting people comfortable in front of the camera. Not that these guys needed that, but I think it’s just a nice little bonus.
